Springtime Refresher Course This refresher course is aimed at people who have recently taken up beekeeping and Are you a little unsure of what to do in spring? Are you a little worried you may kill the bees, or maybe that you have forgotten something important? Everyone has worries and anxieties when they start beekeeping, and our 2 hour Springtime refresher is designed to ease your fears and help you on with your year. Getting Ready for Winter Refresher Course:
Time to put the bees to bed for the winter.
In one short 2 hour session we will run through all the things you need to think about and do to ensure that your bees get through the winter.
We will talk about :
Buttingg the bees to bed for the winter.
Feeding, and how to do it; whether to use liquid or Candy. What to do about disease, varroa treatment and preemptive treatment for disease.
